MIAO VILLAGE


Among the 56 minority groups that live in China, The longhorn Miao are one of the biggest. The Longhorn Miao are known popularly for their warmth and varied vivid customs throughout the year for every occasion, The Miao Village is located in the South west China in the Guizhuo. The Miao village for many years was untouched by tourism until recently when the gates for tourist were open some 15 years ago and should be missed on your Longsheng Guizhuo tours.



The Miao Village has to breath taking scenic views and make any visitor stay there and stare for years. The entire village is surrounded by lush green mountains and with abundance of natural air, light, animals, birds and water bodies. Visitors are greeted with utmost warmth in Miao village as the villages are very polite. In the Miao village, men are responsible for taking care of the families as they are farmers. Rice is one of the most evident food crop for the locals. Women in the Miao Village are the real identity for the outside world. They are expert in embroidery and are set in this direction at a very tender age. Another important and the most noticeable thing about the women of Miao village is hair that they have. Women of this village cut their hair once when they are 18 and never for the rest of their lives which makes. The best time to visit the Miao village on your Longsheng Guizhuo tours is the month of January and February when they have the biggest festival where the teens look for their love and get married in pair.
